EVA UPVC wafer check valve is a type of one-way valve, also known as a non-return valve, designed to allow fluid flow in a single direction and prevent backflow. It's characterized by its wafer-thin, compact design, making it easy to install between flanges in piping systems. UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) is the material of choice for these valves due to its corrosion resistance, lightweight nature, and cost-effectiveness.

EVA UPVC Wafer Check Valve is a compact, non-return valve designed to prevent backflow in piping systems. Its wafer-style body fits snugly between flanges, making it ideal for tight spaces and lightweight installations.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Backflow Prevention:

The primary function is to prevent the reversal of fluid flow, safeguarding downstream equipment and maintaining system integrity.

  • Compact Design:

Its wafer-thin profile allows for installation in tight spaces and between flanges, making it versatile and space-saving.

  • Corrosion Resistance:

UPVC is highly resistant to corrosion from various chemicals and fluids, making it suitable for diverse applications.

  • Cost-Effective:

Compared to metal alternatives, UPVC wafer check valves offer a more affordable solution.

  • Lightweight:

The light weight of UPVC simplifies handling and installation, reducing labor costs.

  • Easy Installation:

Its wafer design and simple mechanism allow for straightforward installation between flanges.

  • Applications:

Widely used in water supply systems, wastewater treatment, swimming pools, and various industrial applications where backflow prevention is crucial.

How it works:

A UPVC wafer check valve typically consists of a disc or plate that is hinged or spring-loaded within the valve body. When fluid flows in the intended direction, the pressure of the fluid pushes the disc open, allowing flow. When the flow reverses, the pressure difference forces the disc to close against the valve seat, preventing backflow.

In essence, a UPVC wafer check valve is a reliable and cost-effective solution for preventing backflow in piping systems, offering a combination of corrosion resistance, compact design, and ease of installation.
